Question:

Can I have the rulings On Lowering the gaze?

 

Answer:

Lowering the gaze is a must for men and women as Allah says in the Quran 24: 30 {Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and safeguard their modesty. That is purer for them} Then Allah says in the next ayah 24:31 {And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and safeguard their modesty}.

However, a man is allowed to look for a woman in case of necessisty or need. While in case of a woman it is allowed to look to men as long as the Fitnah (seduction and sin) is avoided as 'Aishah may Allah be pleased with her was looking at Abyssinians playing in the masjid.
